i. Introduction

> Computer Science (CS) is the emerging area in the country. During its study, students gain intensive classroom and practical training and become proficient in programming languages, computer architecture, concepts like operating systems, data structure, system analysis, design, database and OOPs.

> Students also have an opportunity to interact with industry and work on live project which is a part of their curriculum.

ii. Objectives

> To give student a firm ground in the computing skills which enable them to analyze the problems, plan and implement business solutions.

> To enable the students to understand the basic concepts underpinning these disciplines.

iv. Eligibility

> A candidate being eligible for admission to the three year integrated course leading to the degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination in Science stream conducted by the Maharashtra State board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subject or its equivalent.
